Teddy Bo Tuesday and Challenge #9 Easel Cards

Happy Teddy Bo Tuesday to you all!!!!

WOW...what a hectic week we've had what with the sale and the end of our challenge and finding a little friend that Teddy Bea can't wait to introduce to you all....x But first....let's find out who won our last challenge.......!

Once again we had a WONDERFUL response with some stunningly gorgeous cards....they were so gorgeous that I picked everybody to win but then I was told to go and sit on my hands and calm down and my wonderful Design Team picked this week's winners...so...without further ado this week's Overall Winner is............

Next up is

and lastly it's

Laura

Thank you to you all for entering and making such beautiful cards with the little bears.....ladies, I'll be in touch soon with your winner's details..xx
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, what's new in the store this week....well..Teddy Bea made a new friend....we don't know it's name yet so we tend to call it the "little 'ickle elefunt".....maybe we need a poll to think up a new name?!?!?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So, onto this week's challenge.....it's all about EASEL CARDS!!!

Our Sponsor this week is Sentiments 4 You

and they are putting up a $10 Gift Certificate for their store. Thank you Lynne for doing that..x

Now....I'll go first with my card....I'd like you all to use your imagination and 'see' this as an easel card as I don't actually know how to make one!!! lol It's my Dad's birthday tomorrow and it took me as long to make this as it would normally take me to draw a whole week's worth of Teddy Bo's!!! Had drawn image on his card and I only melted the plastic once....so all in all I think it's a success!!

Can I point out that this is actually a 'see-through' card....and who knew that you could use hairspray to apply embossing powder?!?!?! It gives it a 'crackled' look to it..but I loved it!!

Gayle

Graphic Used: (TEDDYBOBEA_035 - "Little 'ickle elefunt")

On to Tammy's card

Tammy has used " Swinging on a Star " and coloured with poly pencils and blended with baby oil....great cheap option. Sansodor can be rather expensive.

Papers are from Pandura Hobby - they are called Frosted Bluegreen. Totally lush!!!

She has used lots of Wild Orchid Flowers - a must have for a great finish.
The stars are just a shape from Adobe that she printed off on to card stock.

Organza ribbon and lace to finish off.

Debbie has coloured TeddyBo_066 with promarkers and used a gold gel pen on the stems between a scattering of gems and pearls.

The paper she has used is Papermania Henbury Lane and the lace doily has been dabbed with weathered Wood distress ink.

Edna has used Bo Bunny papers with her card this week and the Teddybea image 067. The image has been coloured with Prisma pencils and matted onto scallop nestabilites.

The inside has been decorated to complement the outside with a pocket to hold a personal greeting. Flowers are from Flora Doodles and the punched borders were done using an EK Success 'Swiss Cheese' punch. The sentiment is computer generated.

We have two Guest Designers for May and the first up is Tab.
How sweet does Bea look on this circular easel card? The lilac is stunning mixed with white flowers.

Lisa has used TEDDYBO_051 'Lazy Days' which has been coloured with Copics and
the papers are from the new Docrafts 'Me to You' range.

She has also used lots of flowers from Wild Orchid Crats (Roses, Cherry Blossom
and Sweetheart Blossoms).

Sentiments are Cat's Life Press and Lili of the Valley.

Like Debbie I have used TeddyBo_066 which I coloured in Photoshop, the hammock has been paper pieced and all the papers used on the card are digi papers from The Clipart Fairy. The image hangs away from the card and is attached with a brad so it swings from side to side. I have made it so that the whole thing folds flat for posting.

I had to use one of the adorable new images!!

This one is Teddy_Bea 077
She is so summery looking that I had to go with those colors!

(Not sure I like it ~ not what I am used to!! LOL)

Here is a close-up of the super sweet Teddy Bea:

(sorry for the dark coloring but my wc paper was not behaving!!)

Papers are a mix of JilliBean Soup, Crate paper and Echo Park.

Everything was slatered with distress Crackle paint and some

WOC flowers and shabby ribbon were added to finish it off.

The wonderfully talented Bev is also a guest designer for us and just look at this creation.

The image has been coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and she says

" I LOVED every moment I spent colouring that darling sweet little lady!! "

The papers are K & Co Charlotte,the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts - Trellis Rose, 20mm Roses, 15mm roses, 10mm roses and cherry blossoms. The seam binding she distressed herself (there is a video tutorial on Bev's blog how to do that bit ).

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and label from Spellbinders.

and Claire

Poor Claire's been limited to her time online due to broadband issues...but let me tell you....that has just given her even MORE time to play with her Silhouette and doesn't it show!!!!!!

So ladies and gents...now it's your turn to show us what you can do.....the link will be on the top right hand side of the blogs...please submit your entries there...and remember the challenge will close on Sunday 15th May at midnight UK time...x

We've also got a new Facebook page ladies and gents....please pop along and upload your cards....it'll be a great meeting place for all the friends of Teddy Bo & Co and if you upload your cards there you will also see them on the blog at some point...the link is at the top of this page..xx
