Happy Teddy Bo Tuesday...x

Hi and welcome to another fabby Teddy Bo Tuesday. It seems like just a week since our last chat!?!?!?!?

I don't know if it's just me but I remember when a week was a week.  I don't understand what happened, but this week seems to have been only 2 days long!?!?!?!?  Too much to do, too little time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before we have a look at the wonderful inspiration from the design teams this week, let's take a peek at what's new in store.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

...and this week's DT inspiration

First up Team B who are hosting the current challenge.

Nicole

I´ve used the sweet Bea with the balloon and coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils. The Cardstock is from SU and the pattern paper is from DCWV. I´ve decorated with rhinestones and flowers.

Antoinette

Still following the theme of B & W + one other colour...Pink.

Used new Teddy Bea with Balloon, added 'Happy Birthday' and sentiment using computer. Stamps Magnolia stars in black and painted pink with liquid pearls. Magnolia stars border embossed with pink distress powder, wooden butterfly painted black, used Magnolia paper and used white Dabber paint around the edges :0)))) I have used different shades of pink :0)))

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nela
I have made two little things for the black, white and a colour of your own choice challenge.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Angie

I've gone for a pink theme this time i just love these colours together.
Finally got round to colouring this fab image in, it reminds me of when i was a
teenager many moons ago singing along to Aha and Fleetwood Mac in my bedroom
in front of the mirror.( Don't laugh).
  Morten Harket was going to come in his limo to my school and marry me.

I'm still hoping..Lol....!

I have coloured her with Polychromos pencils.
The Papers are from Raspberry Road.
The flower and leaves are from CREAlies.
Sentiment is a digi stamp from Cuddly Buddly.

Take care
Hugs
Angie Harket (in my dreams) ha! ha!

Helle

Colored with my Touch Markers..
The papers I've used are from my scrap-box..
Ribbons and flowers I bought from WOC..
The text stamp comes from hAnglar & stAnglar..
I've used a little bit of cheese cloth.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tammy
This is a larger card than I usually make - measures 7 inches by 7 inches.
I printed TEDDYBEA_107 a little too large.
Papers used are - Papermania - HENBURY LANE - lush!!!
Coloured with Poly Pencils - blended with Sansodor.
Extra fine white glitter added to water.
Flowers / Gems - Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon - from my stash.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Nicole

I´ve played with the sweet image "Love showers" and colored it in brown tones. I´ve used only cardstock in black and white and I have decorated with clear rhinestones and punched hearts. I´ve used a Martha stewart edge punch for the heart border.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
and a few from Team A
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Edna

Here is one I've made using Echo Park's Apothecary Emporium papers. I don't do Halloween but I liked these papers because of their strong colours and generic appeal.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jill
Ok, got my Copics refills and had to give the challenge a go!
More brown that black maybe..but I chose brown as my extra colour
Hope you like it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Claire

Its a DL card, as I wanted to keep it quite simple, I have coloured it with promarkers and really love the effect its given. I kind of thought that it still went along with the challenge. I've used Teddy Bo and Co papers,  they are just sooooo gorgeous! The sentiment reads - Thinking of you now and always.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Colette
I've used one of this weeks new releases to create my card for a new arrival, isn't that stork just fabulous! Image is coloured in Photoshop, the papers and word art are from Nitwits, paper roses made using a Marianne Creatables die, leaves a CREAlies die, and the scallops are made using a Nellie Snellen border die. There is lots of glitter, the ribbon and the pearls in the flower centres are from stash.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Here's a quick look at a card made by Helle using one of the
FairyDoodler images available in the Teddy Bo Store.

What's new in store?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now let's see what the design team have been up to this week.
Up first is Tammy's card and a small tutorial on how she made her card.
" I have used a mixture of papers from my stash. The paper on the front of this card is " Making Memories - Wedding ". The inside is from a cut-off, so not totally sure where is from etc.
The technique I have used for this card is fairly simple. NOT my idea, as I have seen it about in blogland a few times and have used this idea myself on a number occasions."
TEDDYBO_104
" You need to first print two images off, making sure they are both the same size.
Colour one in your choice of colours and the other in greys.
I used Poly Pencils."
" Once coloured, place in your die cutting machine - I used my cuttle bug, place small circle dies over the top and cut. I used a totally of three. I then mounted my grey image on to my card. "
" Then, using wet glue I attached the coloured circles over the top of the grey coloured image."
" Added Wildorchidcrafts flowers, sentment ( computer generated ) and butterfly peel-off to the card.
Some glitter was added to Bo's butterflies.
The inside of the card complements the front....I printed Bo again so that he fits snug in the corner. Coloured in greys. "
Next up is ........Angie's stunning card
    Angie has coloured just the Bear's faces - as her extra colour and added glitter to their hats. The papers are from Raspberry Road.
She has made these wonderful crochet flowers herself and added buttons.
Swirl is a die cut she found in the bottom of her bits box.The lace is is also from her stash.
Annie's Card
Annie has used the gorguss new TEDDYBEA_138 and painted her dess in pink shimmer paint (which does not show up very well in the photo) and added glitter too, added Ranger Glossy Accents, glitter and pink distress powder to her hat. Made the black patterned background paper, used MS flower border punch, small dasiy punch, square scalloped nestie, clear embossing powder and a sentiment created on the computer...so here we have Black and White & a hint of Pink :0)))
Nela
Like Annie, Nela has used the same Bea....isnt she so sweet?
The red / black and white go together so well. Beautifully done.
Nicolchen
I´ve used for my card the cute pencil sketch *Bo´s Ballon Ride* in negative. After printing I wiped with a sponge's over the motive, so the colour removed in some places. I´ve used Bazill cardstock  in red and black. The pattern paper is by Art Plus and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. The doily I made with die cut from Cheery Lynn Design and for the border I used a Martha Stewart punch. The decoration are only black pearls.
Claire
" I have used just normal pencils and blended it with a cotton bud. I've added a little pink to the card too. I hope you like it.
 The mat is a bright pearl card which is soooo gorgeous in real life. "
Debbie
" For once I needn't worry about my shading and colouring being as good as the rest of you coz I haven't done any other than on the dragonfly  LOL! Patterned paper is Shery K designs - think it was Tammy who found them ".
Helle
" The choice of color was not so difficult because I got a block with a lovely pattern sheets as a birthday gift and have used one of them here.
"Steal a kiss", Teddybobea _066 is my choice of stamps today.
Colored with my Touch Markers.
Glorious flowers purchased in our local scrap store
"Only once in a lifetime" is a rub-on that I bought when Jill and I shopped like crazy when we met this summer. "
Pops
" I loved this challenge, I have used my favorite Teddy Bo image and MME Meadow Lark papers, I have kept it really simple as I loved the Black against the white, I have added a hint of Pink, using WOC Roses and a few pearl hearts, my sentiment is an old Elzybells one..."
Heather
As you may know Heather has had some health problems, so it is brilliant that she has felt well enough to join in with our challenge this week.
Gayle
Oh my goodness!!! I've just nearly passed out with shock, the boss has made a card, and it looks pretty good too!
I've used one of this week's new images "Bo in a Wreath", and chosen red as my other colour.
I coloured the image in Photoshop in full colour, then desaturated everything but the red. The paper is from Debbi Moore's Black and White Chic Boutique CD, the red metallic card is from Home Bargains, black organza ribbon from MeiFlower and white ribbon with rose from a local craft shop. I have paper pieced the J and Y, covered the red bow and ribbon with glossy accents and added nail gems as the berries.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Don't forget you have until Sunday 4th September midnight(GMT)to enter our challenge, looking forward to seeing all your fabulous creations.

Happy, Happy Teddy Bo Tuesday one and all....well...what a busy, busy week I've got on!!!!  My children are back at school on Wednesday....yeeeha, it's been a long 6 weeks...the weather isn't always that great in Scotland so it stops us from getting out and about!!  I'm also 'treading the boards' this week as I take part in "Bad Girls the Musical" in my local theatre........so the 'Greasepaint' is ready...the wig's been brushed and the lines have been learnt...fingers crossed everything will go well!!! lol  If you live near the G74 area of Scotland and you're looking for something to do on Saturday early evening (that's all we've got left ticket wise) then come along and have a good night out!!!!

So, we still have our "Love is in the Air" challenge on at the moment...and the entries so far have been absolutely wonderful....remember, you can enter more than once...so don't just stop at one!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our first tangible product features in the store this week.....our very first paper pack in pinks, blue and lights...xxxx  Our stamps are soon to follow.....oooooh, how exciting!!!
So, what's in the store this week!!?!?!
Some more of our 'scratchies' (which the design team love..just incase you can't tell!??!lol)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As always our Design Team have made some absolutely WONDERFUL cards.......I hope you enjoy looking at them...xx

I have used the new "Scratchy" Bo! Isn't he just adorable!
I love him ~ playing with his new trainset for Christmas.
The papers are From Authentique and all the brass
pieces are from my stash. I have distressed the whole card
with some vintage distress ink.

Papers from Rasberry road.
Cute lovecouple coloured with copics
Not much embellishments, only seambinding from WOC, pearls and some metal from stash.
Distressed around the image.

I want to show the sweet Bea Snowflake Flight tomorrow on my blog.

Used punching: Marianne Stanze Designer Doily LR 0130 and
Marianne Creatables swedish Snowflakes

I've found a great workshop on Tina's blog to tinker a storybook box:

On the front Rapunzel Bea
and here from the inside
I've used:
Stamp: Rapunzel Bea
ProMarkers
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Paper from hobby-Paleis

I have used a digi kit from Raspberry Road called "For the Record"
I've tried out my new Flexmarkers from Promarker that my Dad got me for my birthday. I think its gonna be a long hard process to get the hang of them, they are so light to use! Bea and the cat are coloured in Promarkers. I've even managed to do the inside wooo hooo!!!

Here is my card for Teddy Bo Tuesday.  I have used TeddyBea_131 and coloured her with Prismacolor Pencils. The papers are Docrafts, I think LOL, the flowers are mainly Wild Orchid Crafts and Creative Treasures. The rest of the embellies are from stash.

Hope that you all have a fabulous week :o)

Hugs Tab xxx

Here comes my card for today, and I´ve chosen the unusual color combo purple/brown. At least it is very unusual for me ;0) . I'm curious how you find it.

I´ve chosen one of the adorable new scratchy bears for my card, and I have colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. The primary colors for my card are purple and brown. The pattern paper is from Maja Design. The edges of the papers I´ve treated with the paperdistresser. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and I´ve decorated with punched hearts.

I´ve used an older image of Bea and Bo. It´s a part of *Day dreaming duo*. I´ve colored the images with Prismacolor pencils. The primary colors for my card are light blue and red. The pattern paper is from Creative Memories. I´ve decorated only with punched hearts in three different sizes.
Today I´ve made a card with the new image *Steal a Kiss*. I have colored the sweet couple with Prismacolor pencils. I made this card in my favorite color combo pink and brown. The pattern paper is by Bo Bunny.

I hope you like my card

Here is my card for Teddybo Tuesday.

I've used My Mind's Eye 'A Beautiful Life' papers but this card doesn't show them to best advantage because though I only received them yesterday morning the pad is decimated! I had some cards to do for my daughter's workplace. They like to have a stash of Welcome cards for new members of staff so they don't have to be spectacular or complicated. I managed to dash off half a dozen using these papers and I know I'm going to get some more - they are lush! The only problem was that I wanted to use both sides of each sheet so no second sheets left to play with.
:(

I've used Teddy and Bea 045 for the card and coloured the image with Prisma pencils. The die cut edge on the panel is from a Tim Holtz edger die and the swirls are medium Sizzix dies. The flowers are Nellie's choice embossing punched ones. :)

I love these new images and had to have a play.

Gone back to my fave colours and coloured her
with polychromos pencils.
The papers are from forever friends paper pad
Flowers are from wild orchid.
Dies are a  mixture of spellbinders and Marianne creatables.
Sentiment is from Lili of the valley.
Lace and pearl gems from stash.

I used Sledging Cuddles - coloured in Photoshop, which I also used to make the background, the swirly trees are a freebie brush that I picked up on my travels around blog land a long time ago, mounted onto silver card, corners punched with a photo corner punch. Paper is from The Clipart fairy, ribbon and lace from stash, and jingle bells from The Ribbon Girl.

Angie

Coloured with Pro, Flex and Copic markers.
Papers are from Raspberry Road.
Handmade crochet flower added a brad.
Sentiment is computer generated.
I used a bit of scrap cream wool.

Catch you soon....Gayle x
